Export 101 Seminar

SUSTA is a nonprofit organization funded through the USDA that provides export assistance to small businesses. SUSTA includes two programs – the International Marketing Program and the Brand Promotion program. International Marketing gives you a chance to travel to trade shows with SUSTA and have them manage your international events for you. Brand Promotion allows you to be reimbursed up to 50% for all international marketing expenses, including cost of exhibiting and travel to trade shows, advertisements, and label translation.

The Texas Department of Agriculture and the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) are hosting an Export 101 Seminar.

This half-day seminar will be at the Crown Plaza Suites, 700 Avenue H East, Arlington, TX. Advance registration is required. There is no cost to attend.

The seminar is from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic at the 28th Annual GrapeFest - A Wine Experience

The People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic, the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the nation, is a major event during the four-day festival. This is the largest festival in Texas solely featuring Texas wines and wineries.

Texas Tech University School of Law Water to Wine Conference

This conference is basically a wine law course for licensed attorneys and CLE credit can be obtained for both Thursday and Friday sessions. However, while the entire day is targeted at attorneys, there will also be some extremely beneficial topics to wine growers and wineries.  We will be discussing water law and its impact on the wine grape industry, labeling practices, and several other wine related topics. 

 

 

The conference begins on Thursday, September 18 with the State Bar of Texas Ag Law Video Reply from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost is $80 per person.

The Water to Wine conference is Friday, September 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the conference. Cost is $85 per person.

On Saturday, September 20 you can enjoy a full-day winery tour in Fredericksburg. The tour will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. Cost is $125 per person.

State Fair of Texas Wine Garden

Three Texas wineries will be showcased on Sunday-Friday and four on each Saturday.  The Wine Garden will be open for tastings Sunday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 am. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
