Brian Brill is an active member of the Dallas wine community. Brian began his career in Physics, holding both a Masters degree and PhD from the University of North Carolina. Since then, he has worked in the software industry supporting many major companies in the United States. Wine being one of his true passions, Brian has spent much of his time working his way up the ladder of the Court of Master Sommeliers, Society of Wine Educators, and Wine and Spirits Education Trust. He holds the Court's level one accreditation and is sitting for his Certified Sommelier accreditation in August. He holds both the Certified Specialist of Wine and Certified Specialist of Spirits accreditations from the Society of Wine Educators. He is also preparing for his WSET Advanced Certification in the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Brian is a founding member of the Dallas Sommelier Society, a group dedicated to developing the skills of a wine professional, from practical to theoretical applications. He currently leads the organization. |
