Bill Rich grew up in the restaurant business, out side New York City, where his parents owned a French Country Inn and restaurant. He attained a BA in Speech and Broadcasting at Ohio Wesleyan University in 1975 and re-entered the restaurant business, working for TGI Fridays, as a floor manager. After four years with Fridays, Bill then spent four years in Los Angles working for a German wine importer. This importer moved him to Texas to run several fine wine shops, called The Wine Emporium. In 1988 Bill purchased one of the shops and ran it as owner/operator for the next six years. In 1994, Bill became an employee of Glazers Wholesale, where he is still employed today. During this time, he has held the positions of salesman, State Product Marketing Manager, and currently Regional Specialist for Advantage Wine Sales and Marketing, the Glazer in house brokerage group.
In his spare time, Bill enjoys cooking, camping and hiking with his sons, and listening to classic rock and roll.
