Diane Teitelbaum has more than 25 years in the wine business as a consultant to hotels, restaurants and collectors; a wine educator for colleges and the industry; an appraiser and a writer. She is an international level professional wine judge, has been elected to Who’s Who in Food & Wine in Texas, and is past president of Les Dames d’Escoffier-Dallas. She received a Special Recognition Award form the Italian Trade Commision for writing and education. She was honored with the Inaugural Wine Writer Award from the Texas Wine and Grapegrowers Association. She was international wine consultant to American Airlines for 2 years. She currently consults San Francisco Chronicle on wine lists for restaurant reviews.. She is a contributor on the topic of Texas Wine in two editions of Jancis Robinson’s The Oxford Companion to Wine.
