George Howald has been involved with the Dallas food and wine scene for the last 20 years. He is currently the Dallas/Fort Worth Sales Manager, Serendipity Wine Imports.
He came to Seredipity from the Wine Department of Central Market, a 75,000 square foot gourmet grocery store where he managed a selection of over 2,500 wines. Previous to Central Market, George was the Wine Director for the five star Mansion on Turtle Creek Hotel. He's on the Editorial Advisory Board for Santé Magazine, and has written numerous articles for Santé and other publications.
On the Board for the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food, he's arranged many educational events for the organization and teaches wine classes at Central Market as well. When not professionally evaluating wine for the store, he's biking around White Rock Lake or experimenting with a new recipe gleaned from his coworkers.
