"Kelly got her start in the wine industry 6 years ago right here in Grapevine, TX.  She began working at La Buena Vida Vineyards as a part-time job her junior year of college just because she "thought it sounded cool."  From there she developed a love of and interest in wine that she holds with her today.  After college, she was hired by La Bodega Winery in the DFW Airport as their Operations Manager where she developed her knowledge of fine wines not just from Texas, but from around the world.  Kelly now works at Central Market as the Assistant Department Manager of the Plano location.  For the past 3 years, she has grown her knowledge of wine and beer exponentially.  She has taught many Wine 101 classes at the Southlake location (where she was stationed for the last 2 1/2 years) as well as beer mixing classes and Ladies Night Out wine classes.  She is excited to come back to her roots and judge the fabulous Texas wines that started her adventure into the wonderful world of wine."
