DR. ROY RENFRO, JR.
Dr. Roy E. Renfro, Jr. received his B.S., M.Ed., and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He has been associated with Grayson County College for thirty years. Currently, he the Vice President for Resource Development, Executive Director of GCC’s Foundation, and Director and Founder of the T.V. Munson Viticulture and Enology Center. He has authored several books and scientific articles, and is a former editor of the “T.V. Munson Memorial Vineyard Report.”
Additionally, Renfro co-founded the T.V. Munson Memorial Vineyard, GCC’s Viticulture and Enology program, the Denison-Cognac Sister City Program, the Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association, and the Texas Association of Community College Foundations. For his extensive work on T.V. Munson he has twice been awarded the French Commandeur d’Honneur. |
