Denman
Moody has a passion and natural talent for wine. His leadership qualities and charitable
activities, as well as his speaking and journalistic skills have been nationally
and internationally acclaimed for over two decades.
He was one of the early major American
wine writers, publishing “Moody’s Wine Review” from 1978 to 1983.
His articles have been published in “The International
Wine Review”,

, “Revue du Vin de France”, Paris, and “The International Wine and Food
Society Journal”,
London
, as well as
“Wine and Spirits”. He has also
been published in “The Wine Spectator” and has been Wine Editor for four
cookbooks.
Denman’s expertise has been noted by “The Washington
Post”, “The Houston Chronicle”, “Food and Wine” and “Texas Monthly”, as well as
“The Dallas Morning News” and Texas Department of Agriculture joint award of
“Who’s Who in Food and Wine in
Texas
”.
Denman has been an EMCEE, co-auctioneer, panel moderator
and honored guest too many times to mention, with his ultimately being selected
as co-recipient with Beringer Vineyards for the
Lifetime Achievement Award from the Houston Grand Opera Wine Classic in
1996.
Denman’s latest wine venture is www.corporateeventwines.com., and,
since 2000, he has been the contributing writer on wine for Houston Lifestyles
and Homes, which is delivered monthly to the top 250,000 homes in the Houston
area.
