Wine and Grape 101 Course Info
New to running a vineyard or winery or interested in starting your own business? You’re invited to join TWGGA for the Wine and Grape 101 Course—an introduction to both viticulture and enology, as well as winemaking basics, taught by experts who can help you as you get started in the wine and grape industry. Learn about how to start a vineyard or a winery from viticulture specialists and industry professionals in this special add-on course to TWGGA’s Grape Camp.
The Wine and Grape 101 Course will be held from 2:30 p.m.–5:45 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in conjunction with Grape Camp:
- 2:30 p.m.: Starting a Vineyard 101, Danny Hillin, Extension Viticulture Program Specialist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service
- 4:00 p.m.: Networking Break
- 4:15 p.m.: Starting a Winery 101, Maureen Qualia, Enology Lecturer, Texas Tech University
Please note, you must be registered for Grape Camp to attend the 101 Course.
