About Texas Wine Foundation & the Hoss Newsom Viticultural Scholarship
Newsom Grape Day benefits the Hoss Newsom Viticultural Scholarship awarded by the Texas Wine Foundation (TWF) each spring during Grape Day.
TWF’s mission is to support, develop, and stimulate the health, growth, and improvement of the Texas wine and grape industry and the prosperity of its members by organizing, funding, creating, and implementing programs of education, research, and marketing.
Established in 2012, the Hoss Newsom Viticultural Scholarship is awarded to deserving students who demonstrate the qualities of commitment to and passion for the growing Texas wine industry.
