Texas Wines Chosen by Consumers at the GrapeFest People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic Winners
September 14, 2014

The People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic is the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the United States.  Spanning over all four days of the festival, 43 Texas wineries served 156 Texas wines in eleven 90-minute sessions.  Seven of the 11 sessions were sold out meaning over 6,700 attendees enjoyed award winning Texas wines.  Thank you to all the Texas wineries who were proudly pouring their Texas wines.  Congratulations to the consumer favorites.

Registration is open for attendees and vendors who will display their products and services at Grape Camp.

Grape Camp is a two-day event filled with educational sessions and vendor demonstrations focused on Texas grape growers. Day One is geared toward the new grape grower or individuals wanting to start growing grapes. Topics center around irrigation, soil, disease control, grape varietals, vineyard management. Day Two continues the educational sessions leaning toward topics for seasoned, experienced growers. Placed in the middle of both days, Sunday night, is a celebration reception and dinner held at Fredericksburg Inn and Suites Baron's Creek Conference Center. This is a great time to bring your wine to be enjoyed by all.
